FAQ

Will the Outrider fit on my wheels?

The TL Pro is designed to fit most modern tubeless setups, however exact fitment will depend on the bead width of your tire and symmetry of the rim. We recommend symmetric rims be at least 21mm (internal width) for road tires and 25mm for mountain bike tires. For asymmetric rims, 25mm for road tires and 28mm for mountain bike tires is recommended.

Does it only work with Garmin headunits?

Currently we only have a companion datafield for Garmin devices, which works on both head units and wearables (see our device compatibility list for details). We aim to expand compatibility to other brands in the near future.

Are my tubeless valves compatible?

Virtually any tubeless valve with a removable seal will work with the Outrider, so long as it has enough length to be inflated after installation. The end of the valve will sit up to 5mm closer to the rim with the Outrider installed.

How does it work with tire sealant?

The core electronics of the Outrider are potted in aerospace-grade epoxy to protect them from contamination. The pressure transducer itself is covered by a highly chemically resistant membrane to repel tire sealant and keep the area clear.
